CKI 2011-2012 SCHOOL CALENDAR
SEPTEMBER
*Mon. 5th - NO SCHOOL -Labor Day
*Tues. 6th & Wed. 7th –1st days of school.
* Wed. 21st- Bend Police Dept visit with vehicle here @ CKI @ 10:30am
OCTOBER
* Thurs. 6th - Individual and class pictures 9am-10am
* Tues. 11th - Bend Fire Dept. visit with truck here @ CKI @ 11 am
*Wed. 19th All school field trip to Landsystems nursery 9 AM
*Thurs. 20th Speech & hearing screening (tentative date) ( optional )
*Thurs 27th - Halloween party (dress up in costumes) Bring a treat 9:30-12
NOVEMBER
*Fri. 4th First Friday Parents night out-Open to the Public 5:30-8:30- $20 ages 4-6
*Sun. 7th Daylight Savings time ends
*Tues. 8th 5:30-6:30 OPEN HOUSE Night 5:30-6:30
*Fri. 11th NO SCHOOL-Veteran’s day & Parent Teacher Conferences
*Friday 18th - Parent luncheon (prepared by students) Sunflower class only!
*Monday 21st thru Fri. 25th –NO SCHOOL (Harvest Break)
DECEMBER
*Thurs. 15th (Early closure of PS @ 11:30) Winter Festival 12:30-1:30- (child performance & gift giving)
*Thurs. 22nd thru Fri. 30th - NO SCHOOL (Winter break) We will post a sign-up sheet for the weeks of 12/19-21 to predict attendance and staff scheduling~
FEBRUARY
*Tues. 14th- Valentine’s Day Party <3
* Wed. 29th Leap Day ~
MARCH
*Sun. 11th Daylight Savings time begins
*Registration for summer and next fall (Fees & Forms are due by Thurs. 3/15)
*Spring Break -NO SCHOOL M-F 3/26-30
APRIL
*Sun. 8th Easter
*Thurs. 19th NO SCHOOL-Parent teacher conferences)
*Sun. 22nd Earth Day

*Thurs. 17th Graduation Day @ 5:30 (child performance & potluck) Early pick up required @ 4:00 Instead of 4:30
